El Racó de La Bodega

El Racó de la Bodega in Malgrat de Mar was my go-to spot during my 4-week stay, and their steaks are nothing short of spectacular! Hands down, they serve the absolute best steaks in the area—juicy, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. I heard from so many locals and visitors that this place is the gold standard for steaks, and they weren’t wrong—it’s truly unmatched. The interactive experience of cooking your own steak on a sizzling hotplate at the table is a game-changer, ensuring it’s exactly to your liking. The quality of the meat is exceptional, and the prices are surprisingly affordable for such a high-end experience. The staff is incredibly friendly, fast, and attentive, creating a warm, welcoming vibe that makes every visit special. Whether it’s the tender sirloin or any other cut, every bite is perfection. If you’re in Malgrat de Mar, you MUST visit El Racó de la Bodega for the best steak you’ll ever taste.

Lovely grilled food. We tried the salmon, which was very nice. Also the goat cheeseburger and the polpo a la brasa were delicious. Well cooked, and lovely presented on our plates. Recommended place if you're in the neighborhood.

Truly amazing food here. Very good priced. Had the duck but my mate had the goats cheese burger and she claimed it to be the best burger she's ever had.

Iberian ham and the bread with tomato & olive oil was a great combo as a starter. The burger was super thick and cooked perfectly. The beef carpaccio was excellent. Would definitely recommend and return.

This restaurant is the best we’ve been eating in. The food is excellent. The quality of the food is fresh and very well made. The staff is very service minded. And the prices are very reasonable even cheap compared to what you get. I’ll recommend the Cava Sangria

We had the octopus with mashed potatoes, shellfish melody, and tomato bread. The octopus and mashed potatoes were good, the octopus specifically was excellent. The mashed potatoes had a good flavor, but was a little too salty. The shellfish melody also had great flavor, but also a little on the salty side. The tomatoe bread was quite good. The staff were great and quite patient with us as we speak English. Overall, a good place to eat, one where I see myself returning in the future.

Friendly staff, menu with lot of choice and good food

Very good food with very nice staff, arrives quickly and tastes amazing!! We went back because it was so good I do recommend reserving a table Compared to the Netherlands it was very cheap You get big portions en big drinks (about 300-350 ml)
